Progress in Quezon: Buguitay Island Development

In a recent milestone, our team concluded a successful ocular visit to Buguitay Island, setting the stage for an extensive feasibility study of this off-gird gem. Bursting with excitement, we eagerly anticipate showcasing the island’s pristine beauty and untapped potential.

Amidst this fervor, substantial progress has been achieved in our mission to develop the island’s sustainably. Following a series of productive meetings, we are thrilled to announce that the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) has been granted approval. This crucial milestone underscores our commitment to responsible development practices and environmental stewardship.

Furthermore, we are pleased to report that the Certification Precondition (CP) is on track to be issued by the National Commission on Indigenous Peoples (NCIP) in the first week of March. This certification, along with the impending Environmental Compliance Certificate (ECC), signifies another significant stride forward in our journey toward realizing the full potential of Buguitay Island.
